Delhi BusesTransport buses that are used for public movement have effective fittings that are designed...
Blueline buses operated in Delhi in order to supplement DTC (Delhi Transport Corporation) bus services. These buses are privately owned. Most of the times these buses are leased out means owner of the bus is the other person and the controller of the bus is the other person. These buses have no fixed routes. Generally these buses get overcrowded due to which they get suffocated and are driven erratically and also at fast speeds just to board atmost passengers as they can. Travelling onto these buses is at all risky and uncomfortable. Due to all these aspects these buses mostly get involved in fatal accidents.
The reason behind the over crowdedness and fast speed is that the contractor who gets the hold of the bus has to pay some definite amount of money to the owner on daily basis. He also has to take care of his profit. Thus, the drivers just to earn as much as they can speed up the buses and saves time.
The contractor earns approximately 8,000rs per day out of which he has to give around 4000rs to the owner of the bus. He also has to take care of the all the repairs, maintenance, salaries to the other helpers and other miscellaneous expenditures.
